Our Consent Policy

The right to privacy is something that we value highly among our patients. We only publish our work online with their explicit written authorization. To preserve the patient's identity, we always modify the patient's name in our articles—by using pseudonyms. In addition, the patient's face is typically obscured, hidden, or not visible in the pictures we utilize, except in some cases where the patient has expressed no objection in having their face used on our website. We do not share graphic images of physical wounds, these images are only for inspiring our paintings. Our stance on consent is one that we take very seriously.
